Feature

Your face, your voice, your pin.

Every rep and every agent shows up as themselves. Owners can set a team-wide lapel pin for consistent brand presence; reps can pick their own when no team policy is in force.

What it does

Stand lets every rep and every agent show up as themselves. Your name, your photo, your voice. On top of that, owners can set a team-wide lapel pin — a small icon next to the rep name in the chat header — for consistent brand presence across the org. The pin can be your logo, an initial, a colored badge, or nothing.

You can use AI to generate avatar candidates if you don't have a headshot you like, or pick from a pool of avatars previously generated for your org. The “Powered by Stand” link in the widget footer is removed automatically on Pro and Business plans.

When it helps

  • Solo consultants. "Joonas from Stand" with your real face is a much better first impression than "Support Bot."

  • Sales teams. Each rep has their own headshot and pin — visitors get a sense they're talking to a person, not a queue.

  • Agencies. White-label-ish: agency logo as the pin, agent's face as the avatar. Looks coordinated without forcing a uniform.

  • Brands with consistency rules. Owner sets the team pin once; reps don't have to remember to apply it.

  • Multiple agents. Each one can have its own avatar and pin — same team, different specialties.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Set your own profile

Open Profile. Edit your name, title, and organization. Upload and crop a headshot. This is the default identity reps show up with.

  2. 02

Set a rep-level pin (no team policy in force)

On the same Profile page, scroll to Lapel pin. Pick:

    • None — no pin at all
    • Circle — a small round badge (color, optional initial, optional logo image)
    • Pill — a wider rounded badge with text

If you want the pin's image to also be the avatar, toggle Use pin image as avatar.

  3. 03

Set the team pin policy (org owners only)

Open Team. The Team pin policy card starts collapsed with an Add button. Click Add to seed a policy and reveal the editor. Pick the pin type, color, and logo. While a team policy is set, reps see your pin instead of theirs — it's terminal.

  4. 04

    Remove the team pin policy

On the same card, click Remove to delete the policy. Reps go back to their own choices.

  5. 05

Give an agent its own look

Open Agents → click the cog on an agent → Looks tab.

    • Avatar: click Generate for AI portraits, or pick from previously generated avatars (only AI-generated avatars are offered — never anyone's uploaded photo), or upload your own image.
    • Pin: if no team policy is in force, set a per-agent pin that overrides the rep's preference.
  6. 06

    Hide the "Powered by" footer

The badge appears on the Base plan and is hidden on Pro and Business. Upgrade from Plans & Quotas on the Team page.
