What changes

On Base, the visitor widget includes a Powered by Stand footer attribution. When the organization has an eligible paid plan, the embed omits that attribution automatically; there is no separate per-site styling switch required.

Missing or uncertain plan data fails toward showing the badge so temporary entitlement lookup problems do not accidentally grant paid white-label behavior.

02

What remains visible

  • The rep or Stand-in name, title or brand line, avatar, and lapel pin.
  • The AI disclosure badge for an AI Stand-in.
  • Customer-configured sensitive-data notice or other required visitor copy.
  • Normal chat controls, messages, and links.
03

Plan changes

  • Upgrading to Pro or Business removes the attribution when the widget receives the updated plan configuration.
  • A downgrade restores Powered by Stand when the Base entitlement takes effect.
  • Temporary or promotional access may explicitly retain the badge; the subscription screen states this when applicable.
  • Already captured screenshots or exported transcripts are not rewritten by a later plan change.
04

Verify the visitor result

  • Confirm the organization plan in the subscription view.
  • Load a configured website in a fresh browser context.
  • Open the visitor chat and inspect its footer.
  • If the badge remains unexpectedly, verify that the site belongs to the intended organization and that the paid entitlement is active.
05

Boundaries

  • Removal is organization-plan behavior, not a CSS license to conceal AI disclosure.
  • It does not replace the customer’s own privacy, consent, or legal obligations.
  • The setting does not change Stand links or attribution already authored directly into the customer website.
